Maine Redux

WOW!!! I haven't drawn her for a long time! Ever since I came back from Ohayocon, I am in an anime nich and I love it!

One of the souvenirs I bought at the convention was the Hetalia movie. I watched that and my boyfriend gave me season 1 of the series for Christmas. I remember back last year I made my own fan character, Maine. I was thinking about redrawing her and see what happens.

I am actually really really happy with how this came out! I really like the simplistic coloring style. I think this is going to be the way I shall be painting whenever it comes to anime/game style.

I'm planning on making a Draw it Again! Meme and let you all see the improvement in the character.

Okay, you are probabaly asking, "Why is she wearing a stone around her neck?" Well it is her state stone is the Tourmaline. It can be black and white, but it can also range from red, green, or blue. It has the most range in colors than any other gem, so it may be mistaken for other gemstones.
